En juin 1944, le major Cyrus Manierre, a été parachuté dans le sud de la France en tant que chef de la Jed Team DODGE. Il s'est entraîné et a travaillé avec plusieurs maquis jusqu'en août 1944, date à laquelle il a été trahi par l'armée et remis à la Gestapo.Son fils, Carter Manierre a rédigé un livre à partir de son rapport d'activité et de divers documents trouvés sur décrivant plusieurs chefs de la Résistance - le commandant Noir (Gaston Claude Vuchot), L'Hermine (Jean Drouot), le général Joseph (Henri Zeller), et Bozambo (Charles Lahmery).Ce récit n'est pas publié mais M. Carter Manierre a souhaité que ce travail soit mis à la disposition de tous sur le site du Musée de la Résistance en ligne.
